COVID-19
At Outback Snowmobile Tours, we have developed a COVID-19 Safety Plan, outlining the control measures, policies, procedures, protocols, communication plans, training, and monitoring processes necessary to reduce the risk of transmission of SARS-CoV-2 at our workplace. One of a family of coronaviruses, SARS-CoV-2 is the biological hazard that causes the illness COVID-19 (BCCDC).
MANDATORY FACE COVERINGS

Face coverings are mandatory at all times by staff and clients while at Outback Snowmobile Tours.

Signage has been placed on the entrance to the snowmobile hut to remind clients of this rule.
HAND WASHING

All staff must wash hands frequently and thoroughly at the facilities provided in Happy Valley.
LIMITED CAPACITY
-
The door to the Snowmobile Hut will remain locked and the snowmobile hut will be unmanned until a tour is booked. Tour times and overall tour capacity have been greatly reduced to ensure the safe handling of equipment and increased cleaning protocols.

SIGN UP PROCEDURES

Only 1 group will be allowed in the hut at a time. A group is defined as a family group or a group that remains together within their own bubble.
PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Please respect the 6 foot physical distancing rules in effect.
GEAR + HUT SANITIZATION
-
The snowmobile hut will be sanitized each time a group leaves the premises. The hut is disinfected with a fogger witch uses the sanitizing agent Vital Oxy. All helmets and gear will be sanitized using Vital Oxy each time a client uses them. In addition high traffic areas within the hut will be wiped down and sanitized on a nightly basis.
HAND SANITIZER

Hand sanitizer is provided at the entrance to the Snowmobile Hut. It is mandatory that all clients apply

PROTECTIVE BARRIER

A plexiglass protective barrier has been put in place at the desk in the Snowmobile hut. This barrier

helps to reduces contact between clients and guides.
SNOWMOBILES

Snowmobiles are sanitized each time they are used by a client or guide. Clients are instructed to stay on the snowmobile that they have been provided and not to swap snowmobiles with others.
STAFF

All staff are required to report any illness or symptoms immediately upon onset. They will also report

any illness or symptom as part of the nightly text out.
CLIENTS

All clients are required to acknowledge they are covid/symptom free. They must acknowledge this as part of the booking process.
